What is the FEM Wave?
The FEM Wave is a non-surgical, minimally invasive procedure that uses that uses Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ECSWT) to rejuvenate the vaginal walls and labia of the vagina.
ECSWT delivers pulse waves to the vagina and stimulates activation of the body’s cellular repair mechanisms, resulting in the opening of existing blood vessels, growth of new blood vessels, and cellular tissue repair resulting in improved, or even normalized, sexual function.
What does the FEM Wave treat?
With increasing age, the blood vessels and tissues within the vagina can collapse or breakdown resulting in dysfunction, including poor lubrication leading to painful intercourse, the vaginal canal being too loose providing less sensation or too tight which is uncomfortable, urinary incontinence, loss of sensation resulting in difficulty or inability to even achieve an orgasm, and ultimately a loss of confidence and decreased intimacy.

The FEM Wave is a non-invasive treatment that stimulates tissue repair and cellular regeneration, resulting in the release of growth factors & proteins which stimulate cellular repair and regeneration, increased collagen production, and the formation of new blood vessels.

You may feel some slight discomfort, but patients typically report that the procedure is not painful.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments needed depends on a variety of factors, including the patient’s health and condition being treated, but the typical treatment package involves a series of 10 treatments spaced out every 3-4 days.
To increase the efficacy of the treatment, many patients choose to combine the FEM Wave with a FEM Shot treatment.
